Safety and Features

All the usual safety features are here as well, six airbags, active front head restraints, stability and traction control, security system and front belt pretensioners are all standard. LED head and tail-lights provide safe lighting as well as using less power than incandescent bulbs.

The 2012 LEAF is now standard with heated front and rear seats, heated steering wheel, and battery warmer. Also, a DC fast charge port is now standard on the SL trim.
